26 August 2015 – Workshop on seedlings inspection and monitoring, in the framework of a collaboration between the ARDP programme (Ministry of Agriculture of Lebanon) and the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) (USAID), at Ramliyeh, Lebanon

A workshop was held on 26 August 2015 in Ramliyeh (Lebanon) on “Inspection and monitoring of forestation/reforestation activities”. It was organized in collaboration between the MoA (ARDP) and LRI (USAID). It was addressed to forest guards responsible for site monitoring and NGOs in charge of implementing reforestation activities. The main topics addressed were: Control of the quality of the seedlings during plantation to minimize the errors; Monitoring of seedlings health and determination of survival rate (percentage) and quality after plantation.
